At Thorn & Thread, each piece is packaged with care. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and handled after they leave our shop.

1. Order Processing

Once your order has shipped, delivery times will vary depending on the shipping method selected at checkout and the destination of the package. Estimated shipping times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Thorn & Thread is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • postal carrier delays,

  • severe weather,

  • customs processing,

  • incorrect address information provided by the customer,

  • lost or delayed scans by the carrier,

  • or other circumstances outside of our control.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated. Rates may vary based on package weight, order size, shipping destination, and the shipping method selected.

Any free shipping offers will be applied only as described at the time of purchase and may be subject to minimum order values or destination limitations.

4. Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Thorn & Thread is not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges to have the order resent.

5. Order Tracking

If tracking is provided for your shipment, you will receive tracking information once your order has been shipped. Please allow some time for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system after the label is created.

6. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once a package has been handed off to the shipping carrier, delivery is outside of Thorn & Thread’s control. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once marked as shipped.

If your package appears to be lost or significantly delayed, we recommend first contacting the shipping carrier directly using your tracking information. If you need additional order details to assist with a claim, you may contact us at [insert contact email] and we will do our best to help.

If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, please check with household members, neighbors, apartment offices, or your local post office before contacting us.

7. Returned Packages

If a package is returned to Thorn & Thread due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery, or failure to claim the package, we may contact you regarding reshipment options.

Reshipping costs for returned packages may be the responsibility of the customer unless the return was caused by an error on our part.
